RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DSW OFFICE
The Office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare ensures student well-being through:
- Monitoring day-to-day academic and co-curricular support.
- Offering special assistance to weaker and needy students.
- Planning and executing programs for students’ holistic development.
- Nominating student representatives to college committees.
- Coordinating with the Chief Warden for hostel management.
- Facilitating sports, cultural events, and extracurricular activities.
- Encouraging student participation in intercollegiate events.
- Providing career counselling, skill development training, and financial aid.
- Maintaining discipline and fostering leadership among students.
- Managing welfare schemes such as scholarships, insurance, and “Earn While You Learn” programs.
- Organizing Fresher’s Day, Induction Programs, Teacher’s Day, Non-Teaching Staff Day, Annual Day Celebrations, and other events.
