RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DSW OFFICE

The Office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare ensures student well-being through:

  • Image Monitoring day-to-day academic and co-curricular support.
  • Image Offering special assistance to weaker and needy students.
  • Image Planning and executing programs for students’ holistic development.
  • Image Nominating student representatives to college committees.
  • Image Coordinating with the Chief Warden for hostel management.
  • Image Facilitating sports, cultural events, and extracurricular activities.
  • Image Encouraging student participation in intercollegiate events.
  • Image Providing career counselling, skill development training, and financial aid.
  • Image Maintaining discipline and fostering leadership among students.
  • Image Managing welfare schemes such as scholarships, insurance, and “Earn While You Learn” programs.
  • Image Organizing Fresher’s Day, Induction Programs, Teacher’s Day, Non-Teaching Staff Day, Annual Day Celebrations, and other events.
